Evacuating civilians from the combat zone: a UGV under enemy fire saved an elderly couple

Description: 33rd Assault Regiment troops spotted civilians in a red zone and used a ground robotic complex marked with red crosses to evacuate them, since the soldiers themselves couldn't leave their positions. The robot, carrying an elderly woman unable to walk on her own, was struck by two FPV drones and critically damaged, so the crew watched over the civilians all night, bringing them food and water until an allied unit completed the evacuation at dawn. The elderly civilians were unharmed and are now safe.
